At BTW we do not leave anything up to chance. That's why our practices and procedures are so thorough. Take our Driver and Labour hiring procedures for example. The following steps will give you some idea of How We Work:

OUR POLICIES AND PROCEDURES WILL HELP YOU GET TO WHERE YOU'RE HEADED

Some of these things include:

• Working to meet International Standards
• Ensuring Quality Assurance-Through careful Screening, Evaluation and Follow Through
• Maintaining Driver/Employee Files
• Conducting Mandatory Road testing for Drivers which also includes Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Procedures
• Ensuring Drivers can complete Log Books and other written requirements of the job
• Providing ongoing Safety and Regulatory Training

WE CAN PROVIDE THE BEST FIT FOR YOU WITH OUR PROVEN DRIVER AND LABOUR PLACEMENT PRACTICES

#1. Before we take on any new Customer, we require an in-depth interview to obtain all policies and procedures and develop an acceptable program to suit particular requirements. We usually suggest that this interview cover at least the following potential concerns:

• Company Policy-Appearance, Conduct, Security, Hours of Service ,etc.
• Company Rules and Regulations
• Paper Work - Run Sheets, Bills of Lading, O.S.& D. Procedures, Behind The Wheel Time Sheets, Pallet Control (CPC or CHEP)
• Handling of Dangerous Goods
• Breakdown Procedures

#2. We then carefully review our Driver/Employee Applications in order to obtain the best match and ensure:

• Current Acceptable Abstract
• Minimum Two Years Experience (or as otherwise agreed)
• An Extensive Road and Evaluation Test has been passed
• A Comprehensive Written Test has been completed
• Dangerous Goods test written and passed

#3. On completion of this screening, the Driver/Employee is then trained with respect to the specific Customer's Requirements.

#4. We continue to Train and Upgrade our Employees to ensure that you get the most professional Employee possible.
